Our students have the opportunity to create and manage their own traditional and aquaponic garden. In addition they will learn how to breed and raise Tilapia. The Tilapia are not just tasty to eat, they serve as a nutrient source for the crops in the aquaponic system.

Our goal is to get out and see as much as we can. Field trips are planned on a monthly basis. We are always looking for new an exciting learning experiences for the students. This year we have some great trips in the planning. Arizona Science Center, Wildlife World Zoo, Musical Instrument Museum, and quite a few more still in the works.

The Animals
Who is doing what?
The students play an active role in caring for the animals. Students feed, observe, and tend to their daily basic needs. Currently we have KuneKune pigs, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Tilapia, and a variety of chickens.

Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA)
ESA-2023-24-Parent-Handbook-FINAL-PROOF.pdf (azed.gov)
Parents have the right to choose what’s best for their family and have their education tax dollars pay for the school that meets their child’s needs. Empowerment Scholarship Accounts (ESA) make that possible.
With the ESA program, the money that would pay for that student’s education in a neighborhood school follows that student to whichever school the parents choose for their child, including education at home.
ESA dollars cover multiple education expenses such as private school tuition, curricula, educational supplies, tutoring and more.
